I recorded this in bed this morning when I was feeling sort of inspired, my room felt soft on my skin, and the sight of pale curtains spun against rain-pattered windows made me feel nice <3
It was all recorded on an erase-head-less tape recorder, meaning it was all layered and improvised onto a cassette tape, in the moment, and then ripped to digital-audio with no post-editing.
The poem at the end was the second attempt, since the first one was recorded without my mic plugged in :( They were both entirely improvised, but I think that's a little obvious ~
Transcription of the poem:
'Hillbound, greyfurred, like the man himself.
Bristled and coarsened, by the olden filth.
Creaking like puppet-frame, stepping down the garters.
Bleak wood and trodden ground, sinking under starters.
Holding back, finger curled, around a dilapidated rifle.
The creature, pure under god's light, bounds faster.
Nuisance inconsequential to anything but his own.
Firing the bullet, and in the body it's sewn.
Haggered, hackered, like the vest itself.
Braybark, sculkscum, he's in good health.'
best wishes everyone x

I tried to keep the setting of the music separate to what it's packaged in, since the mood it was recorded in was very relaxed, honest, and creative x
